LERNANTO FR·EN

Commercial policy

Updated: August 2026, ahead of the store launch

The principle: pay once

Lernanto is sold by one-time purchase, never by subscription. A language is bought once and stays acquired for life: all of that language's vocabulary, including tiers added later, with nothing to pay again. We never sell the same language twice; what can be bought on top are other languages, or clearly separate optional modules.

There is no subscription, visible or hidden, anywhere in the app.

What is free

Prices

The price list is published here and in the app, in plain sight:

Prices for France, all taxes included. Elsewhere, the amount shown is the store's own, in its own currency and according to its own price points. Two commitments, effective now:

Purchase, billing and VAT

Purchases happen inside the app, through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Billing, collection and the VAT applicable in the country of purchase are handled by those platforms; the receipt comes from them. Zerava, the publisher, benefits from the French VAT base exemption (article 293 B of the French tax code) for its direct invoicing.

Restoring purchases

A purchase is tied to the App Store or Google Play account, not to a Lernanto account, since there is none. On a new device, or after reinstalling, the "Restore my purchases" button (in the app) asks the store for past purchases and unlocks them. No data passes through us.

Refunds

In-app purchases follow the stores' refund policies: requesting a refund from Apple · Google Play refunds. Before it comes to that: the 100 most common words of every language are free precisely so that buying is never a gamble.

Promo codes

Zerava distributes free unlock codes in small batches: press and partners. A code is redeemed in the store and unlocks like a purchase (permanently, restore included), with no account and no data. Batches are capped by store rules: this is not an on-demand programme, and codes are never sold.

Who sells

The app is published by Zerava, a French SASU with a share capital of €1,000, RCS Paris 991 012 303, 200 rue de la Croix Nivert, 75015 Paris, France, declared as a trader under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) on both stores. Contact: contact@zerava.fr.

In one sentence: pay once, keep it forever, the price is the one written down, and if something goes wrong the store refunds under its rules. And we don't even know who bought.
